Wayne was presented many, many awards throughout his years of school. He proudly displayed the awards and certificates on his walls..even as a teenager. Since he was so proud of them, I feel like he would want me to share them with others...

Who's Who Among America's High School Students....Wayne was so proud of his nomination; that he wrote his note to his Grandfather on it and framed it. He gave it to his Grandfather as a present and to thank him for helping him in school.

The Ribbon is the Physical Fitness Ribbon for running 1 mile in less than 7 Minutes.
The Marksmanship Badge is the Sharpshooter Badge for scoring over 175 and less than 200 in Air Rifle Competition.
The Rifle Team Tab is worn by all Rifle Team members.
The JROTC Challenge Coin is something started by LTC Micheal T. Kuehn at Greene Central High School, and varies depending on the school. The Active Army has them for just about each unit. It is given by LTC Kuehn, traditionally to seniors who are on the staff...but was a special award to Wayne after his death.
